XANDI: I was surrounded by hip-hop and R&B due to a family that was full of djs, rappers and dancers. The soul influence came from my grand-parents and attending church with my aunt. The pop influence came from me stepping outside the box and exploring different kinds of music.

IAA:? Why do you want to record and release your own music?

XANDI:? ?It?s my calling! I like to record a lot.? It helps to relieve pressure in this everyday struggle called life. I want to release my music to the world so they can hear my story and laugh dance, love, and cry with me..

XANDI:? ?My songs are about my personal life experiences with friends, families, and relationships. My music is about enjoying life and doing what I love.

XANDI:? ?My fan base is directed towards teenagers and young adults.

XANDI:? ?My musical influences include Michael Jackson, Aaliyah, Chris Brown, T.I. and Whitney Houston.

XANDI:? ?My goal is to change the music industry by bringing back ?real hip-hop?. I want to teach people that it?s okay to express yourself in a positive manner. My number one goal is to finish high school and attend one of the best colleges for music.
